Aberdeenshire based fabrication and equipment hire firm, Quayside Fabrication, says it has turned to innovation and efficiency to help combat the downturn in the oil & gas industry, after making significant investments in new products and designs.The company, which is a key player in the supply of fabrication and CSV and DSV mobilisation services, says it is keen to remain positive during these difficult times, and is using the downturn as a platform to look at new ideas and new ways of working, in a bid to cut costs, improve efficiency and improve safety.
The firm recently made a substantial investment of over £500,000 in the development and launch of its ‘Portable Power Unit’ (PPU).
